MANILA, Philippines — After landing ace libero Alyssa Eroa, ZUS Coffee solidified its roster with veteran players Fiola Ceballos and Maika Ortiz as well as young setter Ney Mabilangan ahead of the next PVL conference.
The Thunderbelles have been on a recruiting spree, this time picking up three free agents with different positions after welcoming Best Libero and Comeback Player of the Year Eroa.

Ortiz, who recently parted ways with Choco Mucho, provides veteran presence for the young ZUS Coffee squad where she joins Best Middle Blocker and Rookie of the Year Thea Gagate.
The Thunderbelles also added depth to their wing spiker rotation with the signing of longtime PLDT player Fiola Ceballos, who is set to bring her do-it-all game with ZUS main gunners Jovelyn Gonzaga, Chai Troncoso, and Chinnie Arroyo.
Young setter Mabilangan, who played for National University in the UAAP and Galeries Tower in her pro career, will team up with main playmaker Chlo Mondoñedo.
From being a winless squad in its first two conferences, ZUS Coffee made a breakthrough last season, surviving the Play-In and pushing eventual champion Petro Gazz to its limits in the hard-fought best-of-three quarterfinal series.
Amid their recruiting coup of free agents, ZUS Coffee, last year’s lottery winner, will select fifth overall in this year’s PVL Rookie Draft on June 8 at Novotel.
